The talks so far.

So far, with notable exceptions, I've seen a bit too much notecard-reading. I think it's far more enjoyable to watch the students that were more conversational.

I haven't banned notecards because they are nice to have to remind you of the things you want to talk about or specific details, but the use so far has been a little disappointing.

I don't want to come out too negatively, because I know how hard public speaking is, but I wanted to give the remaining groups the heads up that the style of speakers that they've probably liked the best themselves are the style of speakers that I'm trying to encourage.
